Hydroabietyl Alcohol

Hydroabietyl Alcohol is a colorless, tacky, balsamic resin ester.

It is a high molecular weight, primary, monohydric alcohol made from Methyl Hydrogenated Rosinate.

Its tackiness and extremely pale color, combined with its solubility in common organic solvents and compatibility with resins, film-formers, and oils, have led to its use as a resinous plasticizer and/or tackifier in plastics, lacquers, inks and adhesives.

Isoborneol

Isoborneol is a terpene derivative. It is prepared by hydration and rearrangement of camphene/pinene.

L-Borneol

L-Borneol also calls as Mei Slice, is the crystallization of fresh branch and leaf of Typus physiologies Cinnanloni through the distillation of water vapor.

L Borneol is a white crystalline powder or flake crystal. Air scent, spicy, cool, a volatile, light smoke when the flame yellow.  Soluble in ethanol, chloroform or ether.Almost insoluble in water.

L-Borneol is widely used in the preparation of rosemary, lavender and other fragrances which is applied in the production of household products like soap and detergent. Also, it is used in the pharmaceutical field. There are some studies that focus on the antiapoptotic, antioxidative and neuroprotective effect of L-Borneol in human neuroblastoma cells.

l-Carvone

Carvone naturally occurs in many essential oils. It has two optical isomers, L-carvone and D-carvone.

l-Carvone is abundant in all kinds of spearmintessential oil, and D-carvone is abundant in caraway oil. It appears colorless to lightly yellow clear liquid.

l-Carvone is mainly used for the preparation of peppermint flavor of food and fragrance formulation of daily chemicals.

l-Citronellol

l-Citronellol is a citronellol that is oct-6-ene substituted by a hydroxy group at position 1 and methyl groups at positions 3 and 7 (the 3S-enantiomer).

It is an enantiomer of a (R)-(+)-citronellol.

Lavandulol

Lavandulol is a monoterpene alcohol found in a variety of essential oils such as lavender oil.

The term refers to either of two enantiomers. The (R)-enantiomer is natural and has an aroma described as “weak floral, herbal odor with slightly lemon-like, fresh citrus fruity nuance”; the (S)-enantiomer has only a weak odor.

It is widely used in flavor and perfume industry.

Linalyl Acetate

Linalyl acetate is naturally found in many essential oils, such as lavender oil, miscellaneous Lavender oil, Perilla oil, lemon oil and lime oil.

It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with fresh floral and fruity odor.

Linalyl acetate is industrially produced by acetylation of linalool with acetic anhydride.

Menthol

Menthol is colorless, transparent hexagonal or needlelike crystals. It is crystallized from Chinese Mentha Arvensis.

It is industrially prepared by the catalytic and hydrogenation of thymol.

Menthol is widely used in food flavoring, especially the flavor preparation of sugar and beverage.

Menthone Natural

Menthone is a monoterpene. It appears colorless clear lquid with a minty flavor. Menthone naturally occurs in European pennyroyal oil and Asian peppermint oil.

Menthone is used in flavoring, perfume and cosmetics for its characteristic odor.

Methyl Anthranilate

Methyl Anthranilate, also known as MA, Methyl 2-Aminobenzoate, or Carbomethoxyaniline, is an ester of anthranilic acid. It naturally occurs in Concord grapes and other Vitis labrusca grapes. It is industially prepared by transesterification of methyl caproaminobenzoate and menthol.

It appears brown or pale yellow colorless liquids with orange and grape like odor.

Methyl anthranilate is mainly used in cosmetics and fragrance formulation.

Methyl Cedryl Ether

Methyl Cedryl Ether is a very nice ambery cedarwood substitute – a low cost alternative to the more costly synthetic ambergris forms.

It is very widely used, has both fixative and diffusive effects.

Methyl Cedryl Ketone

Acetyl Cedrene is also called Methyl Cedryl Ketone. It is a colorless liquid with strong woody odor.

Methyl Eugenol

Methyl eugenol (allylveratrol) is a natural chemical compound classified as a phenylpropene. It is important to insect behavior and pollination.

Methyl Isoeugenol

Methyl isoeugenol (isomethyleugenol) is a phenylpropanoid, the methyl ether of isoeugenol. It is one of the main components found in the essential oil extracted from Acorus calamus, bark of Croton malambo and rhizomes of Zingiber zerumbet, Hedychium coronarium and Etlingera cevuga.

It appears slight thick sticky liquid. Methyl isoeugenol is used in the formulation of flavor and fragrance.

Methylcyclopentenolone

Methylcyclopenteno (MCP) has strong caramel aroma, can be used for flavor and sweetness enhance.

Methylheptenone

Methylionone

Methylionone is yellow transparent liquid with woody and floral odor.

Pseudomethylionone was synthesized by condensation of citral and butanone under alkaline conditions and then through the cyclization reaction to produce methylionone.

It is mainly used in the flavor formulation of food and beverage.

Musk Ketone

It is widely used in fragrance formulation.

Nerol Extra

Nerol is colorless clear liquid with sweet natural neroli, citrus and magnolia odor. It is found in many essential oils, including neroil, bergamot oil, and citronella oil.

Nerol is commonly prepared by synthetic method in industry.

It is mainly used in perfumery. Geraniol and Nerol are geometrical isomers.

Nerolidol

Nerolidol is also known as peruviol and penetrol. It is a naturally occurring sesquiterpene found in the many kinds of essential oils, including neroli, oil of petitgrain, cananga oi, and jasmine oil. It appears colorless to pale yellow clear oily liquid with minty floral odor.

Nerolidol is prepared by using linalool as raw material, and convert it into geranyl acetone, and then through ethymylation and hydrogenation reaction.

It is mainly used in the fragrance formulation of luxury cosmetics.

Nerolidol has a subtle floral fragrance, this light fragrance will not be annoying to everyone. Floral scents mainly include lavender, lily, and cedar. The main notes are like valley lilies.

Nerolidol, although delicate, has a high concentration of aroma and a wide range of effects. Suitable for a variety of more volatile fragrance, can increase the depth. Nerolidol can help perfumers find their intrinsic flavoring properties!

The addition of nerolidol, though small, is 0.05% for ready-to-drink beverages or simple broths.

p-Anisaldehyde

P-Methoxybenzaldehyde is naturally found in anise oil. It appears colorless liquid with the odor of hawthorn flower.

P-Methoxybenzaldehyde can be prepared by the oxidation of anesol, sommelet reaction of anisole, and the methylation P-hydroxybenzaldehyde, etc.

It is widely used in the preparation of fragrance.

p-Anisic Acid

p-Anisic acid, also called 4-methoxybenzoic acid or draconic acid, is one of the isomers of anisic acid. It appears white to slight yellowish powder.

p-Anisic acid is found naturally in anise. It is also prepared by chemical synthesis from natural anethole.

p-Anisic acid has antiseptic properties. It is widely used as an intermediate in the preparation of more complex organic compounds.

p-Menthane-3,8-diol

p-Menthane-3,8-diol, also known as para-menthane-3,8-diol, PMD, or menthoglycol. It is an organic compound classified as a diol and a terpinoid.

p-Menthane-3,8-diol is extracted from the essential oil of Eucalyptus citriodora or obtained by emi-synthesis from natural citronellal (from Eucalyptus citriodora oil).

It is used mainly as an insect repellent.

Phenylethyl Alcohol

Phenylethyl Alcohol (2-phenylethanol) is a primary alcohol that is ethanol substituted by a phenyl group at position 2. It has a role as a fragrance, a Saccharomyces cerevisiae metabolite, a plant metabolite, an Aspergillus metabolite and a plant growth retardant. It is a primary alcohol and a member of benzenes.

Phenylethyl Alcohol is found in almond. It is a component of ylang-ylang oil.

Phenylethyl Alcohol is a flavouring ingredient.

Pinane

Pinane is a monoterpene and a carbobicyclic compound. It appears colorless oily liquid with mild odor. Pinane is prepared by the hydrogenation of pinene.

It is mainly used to synthesize linalool, geraniol, dihydromyrcenol and their downstream products.
