NATURAL TERPENE INGREDIENTS

FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

Semi-synthetic ingredients are one of the important raw materials on flavour & fragrance industry. The terpenes based is a huge secondary metabolites family in plants, mainly includes Monoterpenes, Sesquiterpenes, and Diterpenes. Foreverest® Terpenes Based Ingredients resource from pine trees, camphor trees, and eucalyptus trees. Such as α-Pinene and β-Pinene are the main ingredients of Gum Turpentine from pines. China has rich species resource and mature process, which is the material export county in the world.

For the flavour & fragrance manufacturing, the common synthetic routes were identified as ring-opening of cyclic monomers, such as Linalool, Geraniol, Dihydromyrcenol, Lauryl alcohol or Neroli. Monoterpene alcohols, such as Terpineol. Or other cyclic compounds, such as Camphor and Isobornyl. The products can synthetic as materials and intermediates for downstream routes, such as Bornyl Acetate, Isobutyl Acetate, Allocimene, Ambergris Ketones, etc.

Preparation of fractionate and extracted from Pinus, Eucalyptus and Cinnamomum.

Bio-renewable and sustainable. Terpene compounds have flora and woody odor characters.

Original supply chain in China, rich ranges of purity and optical rotation as manufacturing demand.

TDS, SDS, trade documents and certificated by the Embassy offer available.

What's terpene based ingredients?

Terpenes are a large family organic compound in plants, which are derived from units of isoprene. The basic molecular formulas are multiples of (C5H8)n. They often have strong and fresh smelling, the derivatives and downstream products can be used in perfumery and flavors.

What's the features of terpene-based?

Terpenes can be classified as Hemiterpenes (C5H8), Monoterpenes (C10H16), Sesquiterpenes (C15H24), Diterpenes (C20H32), Sesterterpenes, Triterpenes (C30H48), Sesquarterpenes (C35H56), Tetraterpenes (C40H64), Polyterpenes and Norisoprenoids. They are a huge organic group come from natural resources. Renewable and sustainable. In addition the application of flavours and fragrances, terpenes also can be used in many industries.

What's the application of terpene used for?

Some terpene chemicals are commodity materials, such as Dipentene (Limonene) can be used in dispersants and solvents. Terpinolene can be used as surface preservatives. α-Terpineol can be applied for inks and electronic industries.

Some terpenes have the low specific rotation, high purity, appeared light colour and smelling strong. They are supplied as synthetic materials or intermediates on flavour and fragrance industry. Such as β-Phellandrene, Isolongifolens or Isocitronellene.

Due to the low toxicity for human and animal health and the natural toxicity to pests, terpenes also are the main organic ingredients of biopesticides.
