α-Terpinyl Acetate (α-TA) is a monoterpene ester and a secondary plant metabolite. It is naturally found in plants such as cardamom, thyme, lovage, and laurel.

α-Terpinyl Acetate has a sweet herbal floral and lavender scent and can be used as a fragrance component and odorant for daily chemical products and daily products. Due to its safety, it can also be used as a food flavoring additive.

In industrial preparation, α-Terpinyl Acetate can be prepared from α-Pinene in the presence of H-β zeolite catalyst.
