According to research findings, a disinfectant spray containing α‑terpineol kills 99.996% of Staphylococcus aureus, 99.998% of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and 100% of Escherichia coli and Candida albicans within one minute of skin contact, when used as directed. With a two‑minute contact time, the formulation reduces bacteria by 98.46%.
