WS-12 ((1R,2S,5R)-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-2-(propan-2-yl)cyclohexane-1-carboxamide) is a synthetic compound designed to deliver a cooling sensation across various products. - Enhances sustained cooling when combined with other WS agents; alone, exhibits poor solubility and heavy bitterness; more stable than menthol for consistent long-term cooling. Heat-resistant up to 200°C.
