Foreverest™ Terpene Phenolic Resin Emulsion TPR602E is an aqueous, solvent-free dispersion of terpene phenolic resin, designed as a ready-to-use tackifier for water-based adhesive systems. With a solid content of ≥55%, an average particle size of 180 nm and a pH of 8–9, it is formulated for direct addition to acrylic, SBR and other synthetic or natural polymer latex systems. The terpene phenolic structure combines a non-polar terpene backbone — which promotes tack and surface wetting — with phenolic hydroxyl groups that enhance specific adhesion and cohesive strength, delivering high adhesion performance together with high shear resistance. Its solvent-free nature eliminates VOC concerns from adhesive manufacturing lines, while compliance with FDA 21 CFR 175.105 supports indirect food-contact adhesive applications.
