Soapbottle has launched “Soapbottle Solids,” a highly concentrated solid soap bar designed to eliminate the need for single-use plastic bottles and pumps. While the company’s long-term vision involves a rigid soap-based container for liquids, this intermediate solution offers an immediate plastic-free alternative.
The 150g bars are engineered to be more durable than conventional soaps, with a 3 oz bar offering the functional equivalent of approximately 12 oz of liquid soap. By removing the water content found in liquid formulas, Soapbottle reduces production water usage and transport weight. The system features a biodegradable design and a unique integrated hanging mechanism, positioning it as a zero-waste solution for the personal care market.
