Terpineol is naturally found in pine oil, lavender oil, orange leaf oil, neroli oil and other plant oils. 肉桂醛天然存在于肉桂油、肉桂油和广藿香油中。 呈淡黄色粘稠液体，带有肉桂和辛辣气味。 肉桂醛有顺式异构体和反式异构体。 肉桂醛在工业上由苯甲醛和乙醛在稀碱溶液中缩合制得。肉桂醛广泛用于日化产品和农业的香精香料配方。 妥尔油沥青是妥尔油以硫酸盐制法蒸馏后的副产品。其被广泛用作乳化剂增加丁苯橡胶（SBR）的流动性。也可应用于矿石浮选剂、生产铸造粘结剂（合脂）、橡胶软化剂、水泥预制隔离剂、黑色印刷油墨、沥青漆等领域。 妥尔油脂肪酸是种低成本的不饱和脂肪酸（油酸），是油酸、亚油酸及其异构体的混合物。其低沸点特性被主要应用于合成润滑油生产领域。
